Raquel strives to make good nutrition simple and accessible to everyone. Getting to know each patient’s background and values is Raquel’s highest priority in the assessment process. She knows that in order to create sustainable behavior change, the patient must feel understood, motivated and empowered to make those changes. Raquel believes that nutrition does not have to be complicated, and there is no universally “right” way of eating. She will tailor her assessment, recommendations and education style to each individual’s needs.
Raquel has experience in inpatient clinical care, community nutrition programming, eating disorder treatment, and outpatient care. Raquel has special interest in supporting women with their unique nutritional needs, and in supporting folks with eating disorders towards full recovery.
